Kamal Haasan’s elder daughter Shruti Haasan is being considered for the lead role in Vashu Bhagnani’s Kal Kisne Dekha. The film is the launch pad of the producer’s son, Jackie.
Our sources inform, “The Tamil superstar’s twenty-one-year old daughter is already making her big screen debut opposite Madhavan in a Tamil movie to be directed by National Award winning film Dombivili Fast’s director Nishikant Kamath. But, an offer has been made to her by Bhagnani, who is famous for his No.1 series films (Coolie No.1, Hero No.1, Shaadi No.1), to star in his son’s maiden film as an actor. Shruti, we have learnt, is however yet to give her nod.”
The pretty daughter of Kamal Haasan and Saarika has started her career as a singer and has given playback to the Mallika Sherawat dance number in her dad’s enacted Dashavatharam which has music by Himesh Reshammiya. She has special interest in music and is ready with her music album which is expected to be launched soon. She has doubled up as a
lyrics writer for this album apart from singing for it. She has even completed a course from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood.
Bhagnani has reportedly admitted having met her once and enamored by her charm, finding her suitable to be cast in his son’s debut film. His film, Kal Kisne Dekha is a romantic musical to be directed by Vivek Sharma who is currently directing the Bachchan - SRK starrer, Bhootnath.
Jackie Bhagnani, before making his debut, has trained himself in all the stunts at the Leavittation, Inc. - the premium stunt training school of Hollywood.
