After making two films on Shakespeare’s works, everyone expected that Vishal Bhardwaj would complete a hattrick with a next again on some Shakespearan work. But, this time Vishal has chosen a more mainstream road with a mushy lovey-dovey story starring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.
However, contrary to reports, this film is not based on ‘Romeo & Juliet. “People would love to see me complete my Shakespearean trilogy after Macbeth (Maqbool) and Hamlet (Omkara). But I’m not doing Romeo & Juliet,” clarifies Vishal.
While Shahid has already signed the dotted line, Priyanka, who is currently shooting in Miami for Tarun Mansukhani’s ‘Dostana’ is still to give her final nod when she returns to Mumbai in May.
